Ivan on Tech analyzes Bitcoin and altcoin market movements following a major weekly pump
Ivan on Tech's crypto market analysis stream reviewing recent price action across Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, XRP, Hyperliquid, and Cardano.
Summary
Ivan on Tech presents a solo live stream reviewing the significant price pumps across major cryptocurrencies over the prior week — XRP up 44%, Hyperliquid up 41%, ETH up 29%, Solana up 26%, Bitcoin up 23%, and Cardano up 21%. He argues that while the moves are bullish, particularly given large engulfing weekly candles off the 200-week moving average, a period of consolidation is normal and expected before a confirmed bull trend is established. He walks through fundamental catalysts for each major coin, including ETF inflows, Solana's proposed fee and inflation changes, Hyperliquid's potential US regulatory pathway and Trump speech referencing bringing Hyperliquid into the US as a compliant entity, and Cardano's Ouroboros Leios upgrade. The stream also includes discussion of Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade and Ivan's concern about the loss of ETH burn mechanics due to L2s, a historical look at Bitcoin dominance and altcoin season context including the 2018 XRP peak when founder Chris Larsen briefly became the fifth richest person in the world, Michael Saylor's AI-generated Bitcoin marketing videos, the fate of BitBoy (Ben Armstrong) — who is reportedly in prison following multiple arrests and a $2.8 million defamation judgment he lost in relation to Kevin O'Leary — and a Q&A session with viewers covering various altcoins including Monad, PancakeSwap, Venice, and SPX6900.
Regarding Hyperliquid, Ivan notes that Druckenmiller purchased the ETF and that Trump referenced Hyperliquid in a speech as a candidate for becoming a fully US-compliant legal entity, though Ivan characterises this as hypothetical. Protocol revenue running at approximately $4 million per day is being directed into USDC buybacks, and Hyperliquid Strategies has resumed buying.
The Bit Boy segment carries a broader business lesson: Ivan argues forcefully that content creators and entrepreneurs should avoid co-ownership structures, since Armstrong lost control of his business to co-owners. Ivan contends that contract-based arrangements with clear terms are almost always preferable to giving anyone equity.
Michael Saylor's AI-generated Bitcoin marketing videos are highlighted positively, with Ivan noting that the production quality — including zoom effects on capybaras, multi-language versions, and cinematic shot composition — is more sophisticated than typical AI content and represents an effective way to spread the Bitcoin message globally.

Bitcoin Weekly Chart — Bull Flip and Post-Pump Consolidation
Ivan on Tech: Oh yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. Welcome to another episode. As you can see right now, Bitcoin is right at the bull flip, still on the weekly time frame. We're right on the bull flip. And today it's kind of a bit of a hangover. We had such a fantastic pump in Bitcoin, in altcoins. Just looking at the last week, it's been quite crazy. XRP up 44%. Hyperliquid up 41%. ETH up 29% — my freaking ETH, Vitalik pumping 29%, very very nicely. Solana 26%. Bitcoin 23%. ADA 21%. So it's been a fantastic last few days. Now it is a bit of relaxation, a bit of a hangover.
It's interesting how much FOMO people had just 24 hours ago. Just looking at the community, looking on Twitter — people were saying, "Oh, it's going to go up so fast, going to go up so fast." We were saying wait for the weekly close because you don't know if it's a rejection. It can still easily be a rejection. At the end of the day, this big fat candle is such a bullish signal that even if we get a rejection, it's going to be temporary. But this big fat candle — it's engulfing everything. It's engulfing all of this crap right here. So as long as we don't lose the full candle, it's looking very, very good. And it's very common to have a bit of a relaxation after a nice big fat pump.
Also, whenever we go bullish, it is a resistance. When we have the bull flip, it is a resistance. So according to me, everything is just like planned. It's going to take some days to establish ourselves above the bull flip. When you have the pump and you're in the middle of the pump, it feels like, okay, we're going to be a million dollars tomorrow, we're going to keep pumping so much. The FOMO hits you in a bad way. Everyone is insanely hyped. But then the next day — ah, it's the same. The prices stabilize, maybe even go a bit sideways.
So all in all, I love that we have such a nice impulsive candle to the upside. This big fat green candle is very bullish, guys. To have this big fat impulse off of the 200-week moving average — I love it. I love it. I love it. But if you zoom in on any bull market, you don't have to be super stressed. Here we also had an impulse candle. Then we closed above the bull trend. This was in 2023. Then actually we were sideways for like a month and we had a big dump below. You see this big dump below — it was very short, but still it was a dump. So I think we're somewhere here. We got the impulse. Now we are digesting the impulse. The next episodes we go bull trend, and then it's going to still take like months and months to really get into the Valhalla zone for Bitcoin.
Now, altcoins would be running way faster. Looking at Solana, for example — Solana now did close the trend bullish. So this is confirmed. ETH, the same thing. ETH did close the trend bullish. This one is also confirmed. And here I also love this impulse big fat candle. This big fat candle, guys, is amazing. Solana also had a big fat green candle. It's very good to have a fat green candle that really marks the strength, because what you don't want is small stair steps up. When it is small stair steps up, I can tell you it's not going to go anywhere. You need a big fat one to really mark that the bulls are back.
The small small green one — like here when 2023 started, it was a big fat one. Okay, then yes, it still went sideways, chop chop chop, even went down, but this was the start of the trend. This was the start of the momentum — the big fat green candle. So I'm just explaining to you how to think about it, because now people are panicking. Yesterday they said, "Ivan, Ivan, Ivan, should we really wait for the weekly close? Because I'm ready to go all in." The poor plebe brains. I'm so fascinated by this. But just 24 hours ago, people were saying, "Should I really wait for the weekly close? Because I'm ready to go all in. I'm ready. I'M READY. Just tell me to go all in. Give me the blessing." I told everyone — take it easy. Take it easy. Take it easy. The bull is going to come. The golden bull is here. I think it's here. I mean, we still need to confirm it, but more or less, you know, we've been a year — it's already soon September in like a few days. So take it easy.
But just think about the last 24 hours. Mama mia. I'm an endless, hopeless student. I love the market psychology so much. The last few days really give a peak into human market psychology. I love it. It's my favorite topic. I'm an avid student — you can say I'm the dedicated avid student of market psychology. And the last few days have been the perfect case study for us here. Literally 24 hours ago, people thought we would go to a million and they would miss it if they waited for the weekly close. I can tell you, guys — no one missed the bull market if they wait for the weekly close to confirm. No one has missed the bull market if they wait for the weekly. Okay.
Altcoin Chart Roundup — XRP, Avalanche, ENA, Zcash, Hyperliquid
Looking at XRP — XRP also very strong. Guys, this green candle — in any chart, when you see such a green candle, there is a good chance that the trend is reversed. And as you can see now, it's bullish on the money line. There's a very good chance that the trend is reversed.
If you have a green fat candle, for example here in Avalanche — it's not as good. It's not as good. So if it would go above a bit here, above this dump, maybe it would make more. But yeah, this one is a bit weaker. Not the best.
Here is good. You see, ENA had a big fat green above this previous thing. It basically engulfed months and months and months of dumping. This is what we need to see. This one is definitely engulfing. It teleported us back to January. Okay, this is what you want to see. You want to see big fat engulfing.
Zcash — Zcash new highs. Engulfing candle also basically erased all of this dump. New highs. Fantastic. New bull trend. Very very good.
Hyperliquid just continues to go up. Also a big fat engulfing candle — erased all of this chopping from June. Very nice. So all charts look good, guys.
There is a risk of a Bart. Just want to put it out there. There's always a risk of a Bart. You go up, you chop, then you erase it fully. That would be bad. If we have a Bart and all of this, it would not be good. There's always a risk. But listen, there's a risk with everything. You go out, maybe a bus hits you. It's a low risk. So when we're looking at markets, we have to just accept the risk. We have to see it for what it is. Most likelihood — the highest likelihood, the way I see it — is that it is a trend change, especially when the money line confirms, like Solana trend change. In most cases, a big fat candle like this after a long bear is a trend change. After a long bear, it is a trend change. Well, not 100%, but it's with the highest likelihood. So that's that.
Now I want to welcome everyone who is watching this stream. How are you guys doing? It's a bit calmer today. Yesterday you probably thought you would miss the bull market. Today you understand — maybe not. Today you understand maybe the bull market is not going to be just a millisecond that you miss. Be honest. Be honest in the comment section. Say "I confess" in the comment section. If you feel like that, say "I confess." Then we know. It's good to confess because then you can move forward. Confession always allows you to move forward. You handle it and then you move forward.
And listen, as this bull market heats up, it's going to be insane. It's going to be crazy. It's going to be absolutely crazy. On Bitcoin, you need a weekly close. On Solana, we have the weekly close. So it's fantastic. On ETH we have the weekly close — fantastic. For Bitcoin, soon weekly close. So that's that.
Solana Fundamentals — Fee Reform, Burn Mechanics, and ETF Inflows
Also, as always, guys — whenever charts change, we look at fundamentals to just confirm that it's a real pump. There is not like a fake market maker pump. There's not some kind of fake thing that the project is doing. So for example with Solana, you actually do have catalysts here confirming that there is likely more demand for Solana very soon.
Number one — ETFs. Very strong inflow in the ETF. But then you also have the tech updates that actually put buy pressure — that put burn pressure, to be more exact — on Solana. For example, this one, SIMD-0003, moves from flat fees to resource-based pricing. And if you are a tech person, you can dig deeper and understand what it means. But if you are a pumpamentals person, the only thing you need to know is that the projected daily burn jumps from 650 SOL towards basically 8,000 to 9,000 Solana. Very very important. Co-founder Anatoly called this proposal a no-brainer to vote yes.
Number two — also again fundamental news but will lead to pumpamentals. We always want the fundamentals leading to pumpamentals. This is another one: SIMD-0002 doubles the disinflation so SOL reaches its 1.5% terminal inflation. So basically cutting inflation a lot. Inflation, to be fair, it's never really been an issue in Solana because if you stake Solana you get the inflation. But on the chart it looks better if that inflation just goes to the chart — you know, we have a price pump instead. This is important because it is also sooner than expected — 2.8 years earlier — and also removes roughly 18.9 million SOL from future issuance. So this is pumpamental. This is pumpamentals.
Then there's some kind of on-chain governance constitution. Okay, good. So ETF number one, disinflation number two, burn number three. Then of course there are other fundamental things, for example with the speed updates. Now all blockchains are fast. So I don't want to focus too much on the speed — Solana is fast, Sui is fast. Measuring how fast — I mean, it's great, everyone is fast. Everything is fast. The biggest updates are for us, at least when it comes to pumping. Fast — you know, all blockchains should be fast. I mean, I just expect all blockchains that are massively adopted to be fast now. It's like an expectation. You expect a car to drive. I expect a blockchain nowadays to be fast. Otherwise, what's the point? Otherwise you just have Bitcoin. Bitcoin is slow. It has a use case of store of value. So then we don't need anything else. But if you're a blockchain with smart contracts, man, you've got to be fast. You've got to be fast.
XRP Fundamentals — ETF Inflows, RLUSD, and Institutional Adoption
Now looking at XRP, because XRP also pumped a lot. XRP is actually the biggest pumper — 44%. These guys are the best at pumping. How old is it? Like 2016 or maybe even older. But ever since I started in crypto, XRP has been around and they always pump. They have the vaporware and they always pump.
So I asked AI — I asked Bulmania AI — can you tell me what's happening? That's why we look at the chart primarily. Chart for XRP — very very nice now that it's bull trend. Very very nice.
Spot ETFs keep sprinting. Very very good inflows sit near $1.5 billion. Very important — with the strongest week since May. Approximately $14 million per week. Bitwise alone has been doing $60 to $80 million daily in volume. Okay, so that's that.
You have the stablecoin — RLUSD. Who is using it? I've never seen anyone use the stablecoin, guys. But listen, chart is the chart. Have you guys used it? RLUSD? Maybe I'm the only one living under a rock. Do you guys use it? I mean, apparently it's big. Just crossed $2 billion market cap. Never used it. Never seen anyone use it. Never seen anyone who has seen someone use it. Okay. But apparently it's big. Two billion — well, two billion is not big in stablecoin land, but for Ripple to have some kind of product, okay. That's good. That's good. Real world adoption.
Jeonbuk Bank in Korea became the first regional bank to replace Swift rails with Ripple. There you go. But who do they connect to? This is interesting. So you don't use Swift, you use Ripple. So who do you connect to? You can only then send to other banks that also use Ripple. So how many? Gemini turned on native XRPL transfers. Anchor rolled out an RPC node. Broader claim circulating — 300 plus. There you go. 300 plus financial institutions. So maybe it's amazing. Maybe Jeonbuk Bank in South Korea can now do transactions with 300 plus institutions. Maybe it's just been such a slow burner of an adoption that it seemed like vaporware, but now it's real. But anyway, here we have all kinds of stuff that apparently are happening and it leads to a pump. Most importantly, it leads to a pump.
XRPL DUNL validator. Okay. Some new validator. Order book AMM. Fantastic. See, guys — XRP, they're always going to be around. XRP is, you know, you just have to accept it as a fact of life. In crypto, it's just a fact of life. In all bull markets, something's going to happen with it.
Hyperliquid Fundamentals — Trump, ETF, and Protocol Revenue
Hyperliquid is also one of the big pumpers during the last week. You have Hype being up 41%. XRP pumps even more than Hype, which everyone uses. Kind of reminds you about the importance of the pump. Everyone is using Hyperliquid. Everyone I know uses Hyperliquid every day. Yet XRP has a higher pump. So there you go — pumpamentals.
The largest catalyst for Hype, in my view, is their ETF and the potential legal on-ramp into the United States. Trump referenced it in a speech. So it's a hypothetical what's going to happen in the US, but apparently they want to bring Hyperliquid as a legal entity, fully compliant in the US. But what's actually driving a lot of spot buying is the ETF, because Druckenmiller bought the ETF. Now Trump is coming out saying that it's time for Hyperliquid to be in the US. So yeah, that's the narrative.
HIP-3, Entropy, and new markets — so new upgrades are live. Volume growing. Open interest in this new upgrade hitting all-time high. RWA per this and that. Buybacks — what's happening? Protocol revenue is running roughly $4 million per day. So $4 million in daily buybacks in Hyperliquid, with perpetuals still generating 86% of weekly fees. USDC fee accrual is directed straight into buybacks. So buy and burn, buy and burn — very important. Hyperliquid Strategies has resumed buying. This is like a treasury company — kind of like MicroStrategy of Hyperliquid. So that's that. Nothing too crazy. You have the US regulatory path and the ETF. I would say that's the biggest one. And then of course the product growing, but most importantly it is the potential Trump collaboration and the ETF.
Cardano — Ouroboros Leios, Midnight Token, and Sony/Japan Angle
Finally, guys — Cardano. Cardano. I could not miss Cardano. Even though Cardano has not pumped nearly like everything else — only 21%, it was the next on the list.
What's happening with Cardano? Ouroboros Leios. You guys know it. Cardano's next major consensus upgrade. The Earth phase on the Musashi testnet environment just finalized. So they're going to be even faster. So you can have an empty chain even faster. Go chain printing empty blocks even faster. I'm joking, guys. But not really. I mean, the speed is important, but when nothing is happening, man, nothing's happening. What are you going to do there, guys? Even faster — I'm so curious what you're going to do, because there really is no DEX that is big. There is, but maybe now there's going to be fast and people are going to do something. Let's see.
So Charles Hoskinson called it the largest upgrade in Cardano history. The biggest thing since the launch of the iPhone — like Apple saying it's the biggest thing since the launch of Cardano. Leios — a practical design that fills idle bandwidth gaps. Laos 6x the current Praos throughput. So currently we have Praos. We're going to get Leios. Is it Greek mythology or which one is it? Praos. Leios. Ouroboros. Fantastic. Musashi. There you go.
Privacy, guys. I don't know if you love privacy. Here's the problem with privacy. It is a separate coin on Cardano — Midnight. So you split the buy pressure. Whenever you split the buy pressure between two coins, it's no bueno. Because where — what should I pump? Now, the bag holders will say, "Oh, it doesn't matter. You just buy both, or they're helping each other." No, listen. It's two coins, man. You need one chart that pumps. How many coins does XRP have? XRP — the master of the pump — has one coin, XRP. And then they have the stablecoin, but one coin. If I want to invest, if I'm buying into the story that all of these institutions are going to be using Ripple, how do I buy into the story? I want to be part of the XRP revolution, the Ripple revolution. I buy XRP. There is no separate coin for anything.
If I love ADA, I love Charles, and privacy is the next frontier for them — what should I buy? Okay, I buy both. So I don't pump any chart. I buy a bit of both. Spreading the pump is not good. You need to unite the pump. But anyway, Midnight just listed on SBI VC Trade, a Japanese exchange operated by Sony Group. So maybe it's going to be in PlayStation. You can buy your GTA 5. Maybe it's going to be Midnight there. Probably not, but yeah, you can dream a bit. Described as the first domestic Japanese crypto exchange to support it. There you go. Sony Group has a freaking exchange in Japan. Did you know, guys? It's fantastic. Hoskinson has publicly flagged the Japan liquidity angle as a hard-won and strategically important. Okay. Yeah.
But yeah, I'm not a fan of a separate coin. I'm actually not a fan at all. I would rather they have — and this thing even dumps. Not only is it a separate coin, it's also pooping the bed bigly bigly bigly bigly. Okay. So what's the point? Now you have two coins that go to zero. And to pump one coin is hard. How are you going to pump two? Okay, now he has to pump two. He cannot even pump one. Anyway, that's that.
So guys, let me know if you love Cardano. Let me know if you love Hyperliquid. Let me know if you love XRP. And of course, ETH — because ETH is also bull trend now. Ripping hard. Very nice. Inflows are also something that's driving all of these different coins. The inflow has been big in the ETF. It's the common thread. All of the pumping coins have had ETF inflows and tech updates.
Ethereum — Glamsterdam Upgrade and the Burn Question
Glamsterdam — the main protocol update is Glamsterdam. Can they make the freaking thing pump? They need to burn ETH. Need to burn ETH. So Glamsterdam will include gas repricing. That's ship state creation. Okay, most contracts are unaffected. Follow-up from the foundation — they have a new testnet. Okay.
What I would love to see is just make it fast as number one, because it's the only chain which is not fast. But also bring back the burn. So ETH becomes deflationary. It goes up and gives yield. It goes down in supply. But now also this thing gives you — you remember the song? It was so nice before, before all of the L2s. Now no one is burning. No one is burning. No one is burning.
Tom Lee is pumping a lot of money into it. So that's good. But listen, on the chart it's good. On the chart it's good. So yeah, the biggest update is the new bull trend. Oh man.
Michael Saylor's AI Marketing Videos for Bitcoin
Hey guys. As you can see, it's a bit of a slow day today. We're just chilling out here reading some fundamentals. But Saylor never disappoints. Let me know, by the way, if you love a bit of fundamentals.
Okay, today it's a bit of a slow day. Let's read up on the fundamentals. And let's check the latest AI content, which is brilliant marketing nowadays from Saylor. Now that Bitcoin is pumping, it's no longer cringe. No longer cringe.
He has some other ones. Let's see. This one we listened to yesterday — "Send More Bears." Okay. He needs to do more, man. He needs to do more. But then we can go to his employees. So the employee that is doing all of this is this creator. See, his employee in the company.
Oh yeah, this one is good. I actually like this one. "Bitcoin is hope and I am prepared to do whatever it takes to spread Bitcoin to 8 billion people around the world."
Fantastic. Fantastic. Then this one — the bears again. What is this? Bitcoin. This is a good intro. This dragon. It's really a dragon. Bitcoin. But look how he travels to all these places. So many languages. He's with the capybara. He's with the freaking dragon. What is this? Komodo dragon. Look at this. Bitcoin. What is it? Bitcoin — Indonesian. Got it. You should watch till the end. "If you feel that your bank is slow like a dinosaur, you should watch till the end. Banks are designed to be slow. Your request needs approval from 20 different people to go through. That system was designed for the past. They move slow. They think slow."
That's true. That's true. They are slow thinkers. You can say that. Yeah. They're very slow.
Oh, the capybara went to watch Bitcoin. Man, how do you — I've got to say, like, these movies — it's AI, but I don't know if it's slop anymore. As a bit of a cinematographer — you know, I'm a bit of a cinematographer because I do videos every day, some people say they are Hollywood, some people don't say — but I can tell you this is quite cool. You know, he zooms in on the capybara, then he zooms out from the capybara. How do you make it? Which model takes it? Like, this is a bit of a scene here. Zooming in on capybara, zooming out. Close shot. What is this? Medium shot? I don't know. I've seen — as a cinematographer I can tell — it's not bad. It's not bad. How do you make this in AI? This is Bitcoin. Yay. Super cool. Super cool stuff.
Q&A — Market Outlook, Altcoin Trends, and Viewer Questions
Guys, let's go to Q&A. What's happening? Yeah, this was my favorite from today.
Many people expect a pullback, but I think most people understand that the bear is ending. That's true. And it's a bit of both. Yeah, some people thought yesterday that they missed the whole bull market. They said, "Ivan, should I wait for weekly close? It's going to pump to a million before the weekly close." We said, "Take it easy. Relax."
Yeah, we need to try that. Maybe we should do AI content because I get some ideas when I see this. I get some ideas, man. Maybe ElevenLabs. Yeah, we need to find someone who can print out stuff from ElevenLabs. If you are good at ElevenLabs, make a video something like Saylor is doing and tag me on Twitter. Let me check if you're good at it. I think we can spread Bitcoin, we can spread everything so much with this, because it's kind of good now. Like with this capybara with the zoom effect — it's not bad. It's very good actually. It's very good.
Ran and Leia. Yeah, there's a bit of a fight between Ran from CryptoBanter and Leia. Big shout out to both. As you know, we are apolitical. We stay away from the drama. We just focus on our own because we're so humble. For example, we said on August 4th, bear is ending. If you were on the newsletter, you would be guessing that. But we stay away from the drama. Apparently Leia said that the bear market is not over. And then she still posted that she made a lot of money from the pump. Something like that. Apparently she said that she traded the pump short-term but that bear markets will — something like that. Ran said that she's taking credit in a wrong way because she did not say that the pump would happen. She said it's a fake out. Yeah. Anyway, could still be a fake out, to be fair. But I can tell you that our track record, man, it's amazing. Our track record here is amazing.
What Happened to BitBoy? — A Lesson in Business Ownership
What happened to BitBoy? Have not seen him. I think he's in jail, right? He's in jail for — let's actually see. Let's actually ask our AI. What happened to BitBoy? Let's see. Let me actually check because it's not really a market question. Can we get some crypto gossip from Bulmania AI? Let's check that. We have configured it so it doesn't discuss too many things outside of crypto, but maybe it can answer us about BitBoy. Is he in jail? Will he be out of jail?
With BitBoy, I think it's a lesson in many different things. But one thing is why you need a partner in your business — or rather, why you don't. To be fair, BitBoy was doing everything. I remember when BitBoy was big, he was on camera. Yes, he had some other guy there asking him questions, but people watched because of BitBoy. Okay, BitBoy. And then he has like five partners for what? You don't need partners. You can have a contract. You can work with someone. But to have owners — get out of here. If you are the main guy who gets all the clients, who is the face, you should be 100% owner. You can still work with people. You can still rev share if you want. You have a contract — a contract with clear terms. We work, and then we don't work. That's it.
I don't remember who exactly told me, but someone told me early on in my business — be super careful with co-ownership. When you start something, it's always, "Oh yeah, we're partners. We're partners." But I mean, don't do it. If it's somehow equal — you both put in a lot of money, you both bring some crazy talent — which in most cases is not like that. In most cases, no. So anyway.
Here we have a report. Let me publish it as a report. See, this is the best thing with Bulmania AI. You can have a nice link here. You can chat and then you can just publish it as a link. So nice. And now I can share this link with you guys.
So — BitBoy report. Ben Armstrong, the longtime face of Bitboy Crypto, has gone absolutely dark. Where is Ben? We don't see Ben. He has been largely inactive since late 2025. Armstrong faced multiple arrests. Yeah, see, this is the problem. He went ballistic there when they took his business. This and that.
Guys, be super careful when you have a co-owner in your business. It's very bad because they have a bunch of rights. They can try to get your share. If you don't need it, never have it. If you really absolutely cannot avoid it, think a million times. You can always do a contract. You can always do many things. A co-owner is like the worst thing you can have. Especially if you do a freaking channel where you do the freaking video. I get so agitated because whenever I see someone doing YouTube — YouTube is like, you are the freaking guy. You should have zero co-owners in YouTube. Now, maybe in other businesses, maybe. But probably you don't need anyone. You can just have a contract. That's it.
So yeah, he — this thing with his business being taken away from him — it got very crazy. And then he could not mentally handle it, I guess. So what happened? A $2.8 million defamation judgment. Oh yeah. Then also he went ballistic against Kevin O'Leary — he defamed Kevin O'Leary. He lost that. Mental health challenges. Yeah. So everything basically added up. Everything added up. So he's in jail. Yeah.
The brand without him — see, this guy, no one cares about Discover Crypto. Okay, it's not the same. You remember BitBoy — he was like the crypto dad, or however he called himself. He really spoke to Americans. They recognized that BitBoy was kind of like them. He was so big. He had like hundreds of thousands of views. This guy — I mean, I don't know what was going on there. They don't have a character. BitBoy was freaking BitBoy, you know. He had so many views. There's no one there. Where was the character with these guys? No one cares. I mean, I'm just being honest. It's not an attack on them. I'm just being honest.
His personal channels have stayed silent for months. Older content still gets dusted off for nostalgia. Oh yeah, the boxing match. Yeah, it was nostalgia. You guys remember? I wonder if someone kept a log book or timeline with all the crazy stuff we did on Crypto Twitter. BitBoy going to someone's house. Yeah. It was crazy.
Bottom line — BitBoy went from one of crypto's loudest daily voices to a complete ghost. Legal losses, arrests, a multi-million dollar judgment, and personal struggles. Yeah. Hopefully he's okay. Hopefully he's going to be okay. Ben Armstrong does not appear to be coming back anytime soon.
Yeah, he did the FTX hunt. I remember. He did the whole FTX investigation. He went to the Bahamas to confront SBF — Sam Bankman-Fried. He lived in a tent outside his house trying to get in. Yeah, it was good old times. Let's pour one out for BitBoy.
But guys, the biggest lesson in all of this — in business, if you are the main guy, you do the marketing, you do the clients, you don't need a co-owner. You don't need a co-owner. You can still be generous with rev share, but ensure that it's a clearly structured contract so you can get rid of them if you don't like them anymore, or if they're not performing. Just very important, man. Very important.
Now I remember who told it to me. Be super careful with co-ownership. This was before my first business. Yeah, thank you very much. It was very good advice. And now whenever I see someone who's like, "Oh yeah, I'm growing on YouTube. I have a co-founder." I'm like, "Oh, why do you have a co-founder? Why?" If I don't see your freaking co-founder in that camera, get rid of them. There is payment, there is contract, you want service, you can buy service. There is nothing magical about anyone. If you do YouTube, you are the main person. People watch because of you. Okay, they don't watch because of you or some assistant or some co-founder. Okay, now of course if you do something else where someone is really needed — but you have to use your brain. Very rarely — in 99% of businesses — you don't need a co-founder.
The other bad thing is if they are needed in the beginning and then they become passive — it's a big problem. You need to have an arrangement where they never stop working. If you never stop working, they should also never stop working. You have a co-owner and they become passive — maybe they were needed in the first week. What is this then? Yeah, very very big topic. And the issue is also that no one thinks about it until there is money to be shared. And these guys, they took everything. They said BitBoy had some misconduct and he loses the shares or whatever they did. But listen, if he can recover, he's still BitBoy. He can restart. He can do stuff.
Viewer Altcoin Requests — SPX6900, Monad, PancakeSwap, Venice
Ivan, check some coin trends. Ask which one you want to see. Ivan, show SPX6900 for Biohazard and Sui for Ronaldo. So Sui is not — let's see. Let's see.
SPX6900 — what's happening? Is it bull trend or what's happening? Where's the biggest chart? SPX/USDT. Let's see. Maxi — got to be the — oh, yo. Yo yo yo, look here. They're going to go bull trend. They're going to go bull trend if the week closes. So yeah. Not bad. Not bad. Big candle continues. So if they close here, possible pump here of 300% to this high right here. Is there a bigger chart somewhere? It seems to be the chart. Yeah. So they have been doing a bottom since January. More or less, when you have such a long sideways and then you have a big pump, more or less the bottom is in. Again, markets are probabilistic. This thing can go to zero any time. Okay, it's all probabilities. But if you have such a long bottom — they've been here derping around doing this bottom for like eight months now — more or less the bottom is in. When you do like this for eight months, especially when you have a big nice impulsive fat green candle. Okay.
Zcash all-time high — already covered that. New bull trend. Altcoin season — never mind, it's coming. Altcoin season coming bigly. I mean, again, you see bull trends. Solana bull trend is great for Solana, but most importantly it opens up the possibility for pumping other altcoins. The same thing with ETH — when these coins do well, like platform coins, Solana and ETH, they open up the pump potential for others.
Someone asked about Ono — technically in a bull trend for quite some time here since May. Not really been doing too much, but I think it's good that it doesn't go down to these lows here. It just kind of consolidates here. So Ono is bull trend, but because they haven't pumped, I would just wait for them to go above the 0.42 which was the bull flip level before getting back in. So they can prove that they are actually bullish now. They're below the bull flip. Yes, it's technically bullish, but they instantly went below. Please check Monad — ask one time. Ask one time.
Let's check Monad. Monad has had a very nice recovery here on the weekly. You see the chart is too small. Let's check the daily. Daily it's already bullish here. Broke out. Yeah, not too bad. Not too bad from a chart perspective. Let's see if there's a longer chart. Bull trend here. Let me check weekly on Bybit because it's a longer chart. Yeah, weekly chart — I wouldn't look at it. Why? Because it's too short. Like you can have all kinds of weird stuff. But yeah, technically bullish here on this one at least. Daily chart is bullish also. Not too bad. I mean, what can we say? It's a consolidation since the listing. Nothing has happened. Just been consolidating since the listing. There's no big trend. It's just sideways.
So the big stuff, the big fireworks, are going to be — let's say it goes above here. Now it's just a range. It's a range here. Actually in this case, let me draw because it's a bit of a wide range here at the edges. So yeah, if they can get above these levels — or below that, it would be very bad. But now it's just a range. It's just a range. But not too bad, man. Not too bad. Given that we've been in a freaking bear, given that everything has gone down like 80 to 90%, they've been able to hold this range between like 0.15 and 0.3 and they're still here, and daily now is bullish. So speculation at least that they go back to the top of the range — that's 40%. That would be a reasonable speculation. And then should they break above, okay, let's go Valhalla.
PancakeSwap — Bull Trend Confirmed, Buybacks, and Sentiment Shift
Where is PancakeSwap? PancakeSwap — bull trend on the daily, up 124% since the bull flip on the daily on August 4th. And on the weekly it's up 80% since the weekly flip on August 10th. Okay. PancakeSwap — Valhalla. Valhalla. Big fat candle engulfing. Just this last week engulfed us all the way to October 2025. Basically, yeah. Fantastic. Fantastic. What can I say? Fantastic.
Finally, the market is appreciating the buybacks. The activity is like the biggest app in crypto. And you see the sentiment change. When you have a bear market, you have a bear trend — like no one cares about you. Even if you have the best business, it still dumps. But as soon as you start recovering, as soon as you go bull trend, you start taking out previous highs. Here, for example, it was high, lower high, lower high, lower high, lower. Now — boop — higher high, trend change. Higher high, trend change. Very nice. Now they have the blessing of the bull, the blessing of the bull trend. Here they had the curse of the bear trend. Okay, we've been waiting since 2022. Now it's 2026.
Is Altcoin Season Here? — Bitcoin Dominance and Historical Context
Is it altcoin season? I sense a bit of hope in that question, because we did see altcoin season in the last bull market. Many people who had just been holding their coins from like 2022 and expected them to come back — they say that there was no altcoin season since 2022. And yeah, maybe if you look at Bitcoin dominance and stuff like that, it's true. But if you just follow the trends, you did have an altcoin season in the last bull market. Also, you did have Dogwifhat go to $5 billion. You had all of the memes. So I would say it's incorrect to say that there was zero altcoin season. It's just that if you were in the wrong coins, then you had zero altcoin season.
And yeah, Bitcoin dominance was strong. We never had this fall in Bitcoin dominance like in 2022. But at the same time, you don't need it to have an altcoin season. We had many coins doing well. I mean, Solana itself went from $8 to $300. Solana from $8 to $300. What you make out of it — it's all about what you make out of it.
Yes, ETH, for example, has been very bad. That's why we've been so skeptical and cynical about ETH — because we saw that it's not pumping too much. Here, back in 2020, 2021, we were mega bullish ETH. I remember yelling here at $300 to buy ETH, buy ETH, buy ETH, and it teleported to $3,000, like to $5,000. Do you guys remember? I remember vividly. We were super bullish here at $300. We said buy buy buy buy buy. Here with L2s they started to mess up and yeah — you see, there's barely did an all-time high like with $100. So yeah, you can say that ETH did not have an altcoin season. But overall this industry had many coins that did well. Many many coins that did well.
Hopefully this time we're going to also have the Bitcoin dominance drop, but we don't control that. We just have to work with what we have. And you can make a lot of money with alts in any bull market, even when dominance is not going down. If you know the trends, if you have mechanical rules.
XRP Valuation in Context — Chris Larsen and the 2018 Peak
How XRP is worth $80 billion — it's fantastic. But you know, it's interesting. A few bull markets ago, $80 billion was crazy. But now the whole world has kind of caught up. Now companies are worth trillions. OpenAI wants to do a trillion dollar IPO. SpaceX is also like $1.5 trillion. Let's actually check in on SpaceX. So now, XRP relatively to everything else is not too big. But I remember a few bull markets ago, they had this massive valuation — it was crazy. But now they print so much money, companies pump so much, that in crypto our valuations are not this crazy anymore.
But there was a point where the XRP founder was richer than Bill Gates. You guys remember that? Which bull market was that? Was it 2021 or when was it? For like a week, right at the peak, the XRP founder got richer than Mark Zuckerberg. Let me actually find those news. Chris Larsen richer than Zuckerberg. This was — oh yeah. Oh yeah. Maybe it was 2018. You see — "XRP founder overtakes Mark Zuckerberg to become the fifth richest person in the world." Okay. So this was 2018. Exactly. But now Mark Zuckerberg is way way richer because tech companies have been growing a lot. So at this time in 2018, XRP was crazy. Now XRP, in comparison to all other tech, it's small, you know. I mean, it's still big, but you understand. Here, the guy was like the fifth richest in the world. Okay, he's not now. Not even close.
Venice Token Chart Check
Say something about the Venice token, man. Why? Why? Why should I say something? Have you subscribed to the channel first? First and foremost, have you subscribed? Have you turned on the bell?
Okay, let's check Venice. Let's check Venice because Venice is big enough for us to talk about anyway. Sometimes people are like, "Yeah, check my shitcoin. No one cares about it. Check it. Check it. Check it." So, Venice.
Oh yeah. So they are right on the flip here. They had a fantastic bull trend here that got fueled by the AI wave. Very very nice. And now a new bull trend potentially starting. And this bull trend, if it can take them above the highs here, go to new all-time high — fantastic. I mean, just all-time highs 25% away, but they need to close bullish. We enter trends when they close bullish and we ride them. We ride them. This way we avoid the risk of downside. We have basically no downside. We ride the up. We're not participating if it's bear, and then if it recovers to a new bull, okay, we can ride it again. So this way we always protect ourselves. The last thing we want is to lose money. Okay, we have a stop loss, we protect, we're out. Our goal is to capture the green ones and to not be in the red ones. And it's impossible for anything to go to Valhalla without being in the big fat green. Okay.
So here this chart is quite interesting because historically it has had good trends — big bear and then green bull here. Okay. This bear was small, but still it's better to be outside of a coin that is in bear. Just wait for it to recover again, because in bear you have a risk of losing everything. You have a risk of it going down a lot. Now that it shows us, okay, it wants to continue — fantastic. Fantastic bull trend. We ride it. All-time high. New all-time high, new Valhalla. Very, very nice.
Closing Q&A and Viewer Donations
Ivan, I have been your number one donator on your streams. I don't remember, but it's amazing, man. It's amazing. See, that's why we need our own system where we can track all of this. But you know, we get like a $1 donation. That's another problem. You know, to be top donator, you donate $2. But I appreciate it. I just want to put it in perspective. I still appreciate — there's still transactions happening, there's still value. But you know, to be top donator, you can do like $2 here.
This guy gave me some — what is it? Malaysia. What did you give me? 15 Malaysian ringgit. Big shout out. Fantastic. Fantastic. I don't remember but I appreciate it deep down somewhere. I do appreciate. Fantastic. But man, I cannot put your name on the hospital with this $2 being number one donator. Okay. But we're going to set up a nice donator system for the bull market. So it's proper proper proper.
Guzman is the top donator. Exactly. $22 ever. Guzman — fantastic. Fantastic, man. Guzman, when we meet, I will give you a big fat coffee. So Guzman is now the top donator. This is the problem we're dealing with now. I have to remove your name from the hospital. I have to put Guzman now with the $22. Okay, guys. I'll call the sign company to do a big fat sign. Big shout out. Once we meet, I give you a nice big coffee with everything.
Oh yeah — the Malaysian ringgit. Which one is it? Big shout out. I've been watching you since — fantastic. Fantastic. Okay. Goodwin. Goodwin. Guys, please remember Goodwin. We're going to remember you. Yeah, man. I appreciate that you're a fan.
Michael Ericson. There you go. Now Michael Ericson is the top donator. There we go. Guys, listen. Thank you very much for being here. Big shout out to everyone who's donated. Michael is number one donator. Guzman number two. Goodwin number three — or maybe number one now. I mean, I don't know how much Malaysian ringgit is worth. Let's see. So it's Malaysian ringgit. Okay. So maybe now Goodwin — there you go, guys.
Thank you very much. Have a good day. Good Wednesday. Bang. Goodwin — this guy. This guy. Fantastic. Fantastic. Have a good day. Bye-bye, guys. It's crazy. Bull market coming. I see we didn't have so many donations in the bear market. Now people are throwing money. Guys, you just recovered your portfolio by maybe 5%. Don't throw the money yet. You know, people are like, "Oh yeah, our shitcoin is up now" — from minus 99% down to minus 96%. "Now we're rich, Ivan!" Guys, bull market coming. Let's go. Let's go. I love the energy. Let's go. Let's go. But you need the money more, to be fair. You still need the money a bit more. Okay. Slightly more.
